Mellow Cello is a poppy band where the cello plays a central role, initiated by Roeland Duijne some 20 years ago. Projects and concerts
Roeland gives concerts all over the world and participates in various artistic initiatives. Some highlights are mentioned below.
Mellow Cello
Roeland’s first album, published by Universal Music, where he explores more modern songs on a cello together with an excellent group of musicians.
The Russian Album
This album contains compositions for cello by Rachmaninov, Tchaikovsky and Kabalevsky, all recorded live over the past years at different venues.
King’s Hall Chamber Music
Right after de renovation of the Kings Hall at ARTIS (Amsterdam Zoo) in 2022, Roeland starts, with Jules van Hessen, a chamber music series in this beautiful venue.
Asian Tours
Some artists are more famous abroad than at home. Roeland has conquered the hearts of many in Europe, but even more in Asia, where he toured on several occasions.
